Our sustainability approach

Tallink Grupp has been reporting on its ESG activities and results already since the company’s early days, with a clear focus in the early 2000s on safety, security and people aspects, and a rapid increase since then on environmental and governance topics.

Our ESG journey

Over the years, we have evolved with our activities, reporting and focus areas just as the field of sustainability itself has shifted and changed over time from corporate social responsibility to sustainability to ESG.

MyStar
  • Today, with the imminent implementation of the European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the still relatively new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), we take yet another giant leap forward with our sustainability activities and reporting and invite everyone in our value chain along on this journey. We are working together for a more positive future and we at Tallink Grupp believe it is our duty to do so.
  • From 1 January 2025 onwards Tallink Grupp will incorporate the group’s sustainability report into the company’s Annual Report and will be reporting on its ESG goals, activities and achievements in line with the ESRS standard.
